Schadenfreude

One really is taken aback with the relish in which some Americans gleefully report

the ongoing riots in France.Commentators seem barely able to hide their smirks as they catalogue the 1400 burnt cars,2 Churches and 3 Schools destroyed on Monday night in the outskirts of Paris. To listen to the thick cunts you'd never think

it was anything to do with American foreign policy in the Middle East that stirred up the Muslims in the first place.I know these riots are about poverty and police

brutality and have little to do with the Middle East, but you can't go around pissing

off Muslims without reaping the whirlwind (or hurricane as the case may be).

Heres a Quote from some beut in the Riflemans Ass.

"You bastards made your bed and cuddled up to the Muslims, now you get to sleep in it.Don't bother calling us for help. We're busy bringing democracy and the rule of law to Iraq.Oh,and we hope you have enough fire extinguishers."

He's what we call "Some can of piss".What sort of arseholes are these people ?

I know most Americans won't subscribe to those comments as millions voted against the out of control, rogue government they are inflicted with, led by the

alcoholic,ex-drinker Bush and his co-conspirator,oul' "Go by the wall "Cheney.

Perhaps riots and public dissention may not seem like a bad option by the end of the present term.

On the slight off-chance that you did'nt know,Schadenfreude is the malicious

satisfaction in misfortunes of others.

No, whatever you did you seemed to just shrink the text size of that particular sentance.
Just hightlight what looks like a faded line, rightclick and 'copy'.
Open Word and 'Paste', to read it.
I have kindly done it for you- below is the missing sentance!

I must work “can of piss “ into my next report. Blogs are the ideal instrument for a morning rant. They are more immediate than writing to the papers or something.

If you go into “edit posts” in “new postings” you can highlight the bit and increase the font size et voila!

They are at it in the UK as well AB, the Guardian of course, stirring up shit, lots of anti-French nonsense and gleeful told-you-so-isms.

Letting in an endless number of unassimilable immigrants has been a disaster for the US as well. I am often shocked at how naive the Europeans are in regards to ethnic conflict in the US. Some of it is to do with poverty. The vast of majority of the violence is do to hatred of some form or another.

The French invaded North Africa and the North Africans hated them. Now the French have let in North African Muslims and they are bitter. Any Surprises here? What happens if you are wrong and it is not just about poverty? Of course no one likes to think about that. What happens when all the goody programs and affirmative action programs don't work out (they never have in the states)? Again, no one considers that. The Muslims are demanding their own country inside of France. That does not sound like just poverty to me. They are not asking for more welfare.

Most Americans are very sad for the French. There are a few fools gloating. But the vast majority of Americans have been exposed to ethnic conflict on some level.

I keep on hearing the European commentators talk about how great the American assimilation process is. Well if they could have been on the streets with me in Detroit on a day to day basis while I was growing up. Or if there was some honest news coming out of America---they would see reality. I would have thought Hurricane Katrina woke up most Europeans to what was really going on in America. Guess I was wrong.

I have seen the future of America and all of Europe. I saw it riding the bus to school every morning in Detroit. Now everyone else is getting to see it ---up close and personal. Not pretty.

Thesis: War on terror, we are going to bomb and democratize the middle east.

Antithesis: We are going to let millions of Muslims flood into the West. Give them goodies and tell them to love us.

Synthesis: World War 3

Interesting to note. Israel's biggest problem is now the West's biggest problem---a rising angry Muslim tide that is demanding more and more. How is this going to end? You think this is all an accident?

Anti-B, I'm flattered that you've linked me, and I shall return the compliment, but I am a wise APE not a wise MONKEY. Calling me a monkey is a shocking racial insult. Please change this.

While I thank you unamerican,for
your comments, and greatly appreciate them,I am not Quite clear on some points that you made.
For instance,when you speak of
unassimilability,do you refer to the half million negro slaves
"invited" to your beautiful country
or to the native Americans who already lived there.Or perhaps you
are refering to the millions of
Europeans allowed in,which your
country desperately needed to become great, all of whom seem to have assimilated very nicely indeed. From where I'm sitting, the
whole of the United States appears
to be one big nation of refugees,
like it or not,we are what we are.

Would the ethnic conflict you refer to,by any chance ,be the race riots of the sixties, events
which played a pivotal role,accord-
ing to most Americans,in making the
U.S. the oasis of freedom it is today.Only last week your country
celebrated the life of Rosa Parkes,
the lady credited with beginning the end of Apartheid there.

Regarding the news, honest or otherwise, would that all America
could see the news WE get,but as we know, most have little or no interest in happenings outside their own towns or cities, what is the proportion of Americans who hold passports?

We were indeed all mesmerised
by hurricane Katrina, but more so by the Federal Government's either
unwillingness or inability to look
after its own citizens.No,you're
wrong there un-unamerican,the whole world saw the emperor's new
clothes on that sad occasion.

Israel's biggest problem is indeed the worlds biggest problem,
now that Israel's lackey, the U.S.A. has begun threatening Israel's nearest neighbours,Iran and Syria. Now that is interesting,
do YOU think this is an accident?

Dear Mr. Bananas,I am aware of the vast differences between Gorillas
and Monkeys, but felt that as the
"Three Wise Monkeys" have greater
global recognition than yourself,at this stage of your
career,I might do you some little
service by introducing you to a
slightly wider audience as one of them.I shall certainly change your link if that is your wish, besides all bush meat tastes the same to us
humans.

No accident at all. Americans have very little control over the two party oligarchy. The Democans and the Republicrats always seem to have the bases covered (barring a violent revolt or a third party---after Ross Perot the two parties have made it even more difficult for third parties to get on the ballot). Just the read the Green Party USA's website about the horrors of the US electoral system.

I don't see America as a bastion of freedom these days. When referring to unasimilable. I am basically referring to immigrant communities I grew up around who are only interested in splitting up the county. Not to say they do not have a right to be pissed.

" Regarding the news, honest or otherwise, would that all America
could see the news WE get,but as we know, most have little or no interest in happenings outside their own towns or cities, what is the proportion of Americans who hold passports?"

Many Americans are more aware than you think. From your comments, I can see you know little about how much money it takes to buy Health Insurance in the States. It takes quite a bit of money to travel overseas. Many Americans cannot afford to jump on planes and buy passports (not to mention having such a big country like the US with so many places to vacation to by car). Americans that can afford to travel overseas--usually do in some form or another. I know the world would like us to travel more.:-) I do my part. But lets face it. Would you really welcome more Americans traveling around? Doesn't sound like you care for us all that much.

Regarding ethnic violence, I was referring to getting shot at for being white on my way to school. Putting people together by force who have historical grievances is very difficult--if not impossible. The Race factor makes it all the more difficult. Of course, you will say---there is no such thing as race. And you may be right on that. However, it is pointless to try to explain that to someone shooting at you.

You could say America is one big refugee camp. I agree with that. But between the African Americans (who have a historical grievance because of slavery and always will), or the large Mexican immigrant population (who are a permanent class of helots --perpetual wage slaves used by Corporate America to keep wages low ---not to mention their historical grievance with the US taking their historic lands outwest). Lastly, the US has a Large and growing Muslim population. I grew up around them in Detroit. Many are nice folks--but many will tell you they have no interest in assimilating. Not only that the US is going out of it's way supporting Isreal and attacking Muslim countries. Which of course, makes them all the more bitter.

If you think about any of the above, you will see that it is not going to get any better. Or maybe you don't understand. Sometimes it is hard to understand ---if you don't live in the US. It is a powder keg---plain and simple. But maybe we could both agree that it always has been.

Say, how'd you decide to pirate Beardy's nickname for me as my link, eh?

the anti-barney said...

Not quite the same,Lindy. Now you can have Barbie's pervs AND my
dieting lesbians checking you over.

the anti-barney said...

Unamerican,I would like to make two
brief points, firstly I have no particular axe to grind with Americans,It is only your media and
your politicians that I find nauseating.Secondly perhaps you are
worrying yourself too much about the Muslim Threat. The last time the
Muslims invaded Europe coincided with the begining of a new age of
enlightenment, bringing us out of the dark ages and leading to the
Renaissance and ultimately to the
discovery of America.

Dr Maroon said...

"...It is only your media and

"...new age of enlightenment..." Yeah you're right, we woke up and put them all to the sword.

"...the discovery of America." What about Tonto, Cochise, Geronimo! an' all them then?
